About Me

I am a software developer, currently an Application Developer Intern at Mckee Foods Corporation. During my time at McKee Foods, I have had the opportunity to build several projects including a full stack application to track items used by employees in production, a React web app with an agile team at Mckee, and also have rewritten parts of legacy codebases to call new APIs used at McKee. I became interested in software development because I had always wanted to be some kind of inventor and software development was a perfect fit for me with that inclination. Alogside my software development experience in my internship, I have also gained experience with many personal projects which are listed below.

My Experience

• Application Developer Intern (May 2023 - Present) | McKee Foods Corporation Collegedale, TN
  • Rewriting an internal tool used to track items used by hundreds of employees in food production. Full stack app with WPF front-end and back-end REST API written with the .NET framework connected to an SQL Server database. Designed the architecture for the project and database with input from manager.
  • Coordinated with an agile team to rewrite an app for McKee distributors to manage their stores. Full stack app with React front end, and back end written with the .NET framework.
  • Reduced technical debt by rewriting APIs to use new technologies used at McKee. ASP.NET Core.
